I am looking for someone to take over my contract in Montague Burton Residences (contract is with Uni of Leeds Student Accommodation services), for the next academic year starting in September 2026.

Rent: 164£ per week bills included (6,733.02£ overall)
Duration of contract: 12/09/26 to 26/06/27
Self-catered
Washing machine and dryer in the flat
Shared bathrooms
10 minute walk from campus and 15 minute walk from Leeds City Centre
Price includes utilities (gas, water and electricity), Internet, Edge Premium sports membership, Residence Life Social Committee and basics contents insurance (there's also a barbecue in the common space!!)
Flat of 9 (could still change)
I am currently a first year undergraduate living in Montague Burton. In January I applied for and accepted a place here for my second year, starting this September. However my plans have since changed as I have decided to live with friends in a house for my second year instead. If I can find someone who meets the university accommodation requirements (ie must be studying at the University of Leeds in 2026-2027 and female), they will transfer the contract into the new person’s name.

I’ve loved living in this accommodation, everything’s very clean (bathrooms cleaned once a week and bins taken out every day except on weekends), it is very social as every block is quite small compared to other uni accoms which makes it feel like a little village and makes it easy to meet people. Having washing machines is a big plus, it saves so much time and money and the shared bathrooms are not an inconvenience at all, if you’re in a flat of 9 (which will probably be the case) there’s three bathrooms so I’ve never had to wait to take my shower and it has always been very clean.
