Together with the Higher Education Policy Institute (HEPI), Unipol are heading south on Tuesday 10 December to share findings on a research project focusing on the London Student accommodation market, would you like to join us?
This piece of research was commissioned to support the Accommodation Costs Survey series and examines the challenges and opportunities in providing a home for London’s student population.
An additional aim is to inform the growing policy debate of student maintenance loans, and evidence the risks to the UK higher education residential experience if concerns regarding the funding system are not addressed.
Victoria Tolmie-Loverseed, Assistant Chief Executive of Unipol, said:
“Accommodation costs in London are increasingly putting higher education out of reach for a large number of students. Building on our 2023 Ten Cities Rent Survey, this report zeroes in on London to highlight the significant funding gap many students face, which restricts their ability to access the capital's renowned universities."
Attendees will hear from a panel of expert stakeholders who will share their thoughts on the survey’s findings and take questions from the floor.
This free event suits university leaders, PBSA providers, policymakers, and anyone with an interest in the future of student housing in one of the world’s most populous student cities.
