The Pyramid Theatre at Leeds University Union played host to the Rate Your Landlord Awards, an event celebrating the highest-rated landlords as chosen by Leeds students. Recognising excellence in the student rental market, the awards highlight achievements in key areas such as the letting process, customer service, efficiency of repairs, value for money, safety and security, and more.
“Consumer feedback is driving change across many industries, and the student rental market is no different,” said Nicola Brown, Hub Services Director at Unipol. “Review platforms have shown the value of listening to customers, this is why along with Leeds University Union, Unipol started Rate Your Landlord to give students the opportunity to share their experiences. These awards recognise landlords who have taken that feedback on board and provided great service.”
This year’s awards celebrated exceptional achievements in student housing, recognising those with the highest overall scores across several award categories, including Highest Rated Landlord, Best Managing Agent, Best Purpose-Built Student Accommodation, the prestigious Landlord of the Year, and as chosen by the Students’ Unions elected officers through anonymised comments - Most Caring Landlord.
