Plant-Powered January: Small Swaps, Big Impact

02/01/2025

As we shake off the after-effects of festive indulgence and muster the willpower to fire up the laptop and ease back into work mode, we’re asking our staff and students to try something a little different for January.

This month, Unipol are teaming up with Veganuary to encourage our staff and students to shake things up by swapping a few of their usual meals for plant-based alternatives. Along the way, we’re planning to mix in a little educational fun. Think fascinating facts, simple and tasty recipes, and some behind-the-scenes photos and reviews of the experience.

‘Full disclosure. I’m a meat-eater,’ admitted Sally Ramsey, Sales and Marketing Director of Unipol. ‘But when I started chatting with the team about Veganuary, I realised how many of us are already enjoying the occasional vegan meal alongside some of our favourite snacks.

It’s really about starting the conversation and discovering the growing variety of products out there that make eating plant-based easier. With students being mindful consumers, we also recognise the need to stay budget-friendly, so we’re showing how healthier alternatives can benefit the planet and your pocket.’
