In Leeds, take a look at Rate Your Landlord; a place where students like you get to say what they really think about their landlord.

2. Help with complaints and keeping landlords accountable by running the Unipol Code

The Unipol Code is essentially a verification scheme which student landlords voluntarily join, where they pledge to meet a set of high standards. Unipol inspect a portion of their properties to ensure they’re up to scratch, and if you need to raise a complaint about a Code landlord, Unipol can intervene to help you to resolve any issues.

3. Use our free advice service for students

Unipol is made up of a team of student housing experts, and we aim to empower students so you know your rights when it comes to renting.

We have an online Contract Checking Service - Get Your Contract Checked Here.

If you have any questions, whether it be about a prospective landlord, signing a contract, or deposits, we’re here to help and can be reached online, over the phone or in person at one of our hubs.
