We can accept donations/deliveries between 10am-4pm on Mondays and Thursdays directly to us at All Hallows’ Church, 24 Regent Terrace, LS6 1NP

What to donate

A wish list is posted regularly on Rainbow Junktion's social media pages, please take a look at them especially if you are specifically buying food items specifically.

We can generally accept:

  • Fresh fruit and vegetables

  • Unopened tinned food and dry food (even if past best before date as this is a quality not health control)

  • Unopened frozen food that is labelled and dated

  • Unopened bread/bakery products

  • Eggs up to a week past their best before date

  • Opened spices/oils

  • Pet food

  • Toilet paper

  • Sanitary towels/tampons

  • Clean plastic shopping bags

  • Clean tupperware with matching lids

We cannot accept:

  • Food past it’s use by date that hasn’t been frozen on that date (this is a legal and health requirement)

  • Very mouldy/completely unusable food - we always try and save food if we can but we never want to put peoples health at risk.

  • Toiletries and cleaning products - we are now focusing on food so can no longer accept these, please send to your local hygiene bank.

  • Clothes - please take to Leeds Grand Mosque for their weekly clothing bank or St Vincent’s who provide free clothes for refugee and asylum seeking people

  • Kitchenware - this is a bit more complicated as we do occasionally need things, please check with cafe manager, Nic, before bringing to RJ

  • Other household items - please take to your local charity shop

  • Baby products - please take to the Leeds Baby Bank

  • Sleeping bags/tents - please take to one of the many excellent homelessness charities in Leeds
